"THE SONG OF GLITTER AND SMOKE" - A COLLABORATION BETWEEN CRRISSA_THE_CYBERBARD, HAMMETA, AND CASEY BOWEN

 

What happens when you put together three professional musicians from various backgrounds and various musical styles all together and they all want to make music? You get the glorious debut of the concept album of "The Song of Glitter and Smoke."

When one musician reaches out in a private message and simply asks one question "Do you want to collab on a project with me?" and the answer is an astonishing "YES" all the while bringing in a third person to join the endeavor and offer his immaculate production skills.

This absolute stunner of an album goes through the slow process of ideas and concepts to writing and recording all the way to the finish line of a completed project. 

And the kicker is that all three musicians live in varying places across the globe and therefore are coming together through the fast paces of the online world via the Internet to do their work. 

The one thing about this album that I must include here is that the full and entire process of planning, making, writing, and recording the whole thing happened on live streaming on the live streaming platform of Twitch. Done in front of a live audience 100% of the time beginning in February of 2025!

This labour of love isn't something that anyone would want to sleep on. The album's entire process was made through rapacious manners of all kinds over several month while live streaming every step of the process all on Twitch. 

This excellent concept album with the tale as old as time is brilliant and exceptionable. 

The devil and angel on your shoulder, the battle between good versus evil and the person in between upon the shoulders from which they rest on, night and day, 24 hours a day - seven days a week. 

"The Song of Glitter and Smoke" is a multi-genre production which gives the listener a heart pounding, gut wrenching thrill ride that would be worthy to be put into production as something to be performed live on stage. Whether or not that happens in the future remains to be seen, for now, we have this great opportunity to fill our ear holes with majestic and bombastic original musical content.
