"DID I SAY THAT OUTLOUD?" - JULIE JULES

Once in a while, or even in a lifetime, you cross paths with someone who has the greatest influence, charm, character, and most importantly, talent.

Julie Jules is that example.

After finding her on Twitch a number of years ago, Julie has now released her debut album. It is the collection of musical numbers that we all have been missing all of our lives, and now it is available!

Her vocals are nothing less than celestial. And if you pay close attention, you just might find a little bit of humor in her lyrics that washes over you in a way that melts away any ounce of bad day that you might be experiencing.

Julie Jules is an undiscovered gem, and I hope that lots more people will find her music. I am fortunate and happy to have found her when I did.

"Dandelion" and "Ocean" are my absolute favorite tracks from the album.

The album is unapologetic and sincere. You won't find any fluff on the album, just pure magic straight from the heart.

"THE RECKLESS PURSUIT" - SARAH CAMERON

Hang on for the ride of a lifetime! The debut album by singer-songwriter Sarah Cameron is finally seeing the light of day and rushing over into your ear holes for an audio cacophony that any music lover will never forget.

"The Reckless Pursuit" is currently breaking down barriers and breaking hearts at the same time with a mighty BANG!!

It takes you through an emotion journey as you listen track after track after track. A couple of very notable songs on this album would be "Whisper" and the last couple of tracks on the album which includes "Hold On" and "Live Out Loud".

The unashamed faith of Cameron can boldly be discovered sprinkled throughout the whole album. And I personally give props and totally respect Sarah Cameron for it.

It is a physical impossibility to go through the entire album without shedding a tear or in the very least feeling emotions that you may have had bottled up for a long time.

The influences upon this album are evident. The album has vibes of Taylor Swift, Avril Lavigne, and others. Fans of them will be fans of Sarah Cameron.

The album is a force to be reckoned with for sure. And can stand up amongst anything else in the music industry.

REDEMPTION VOL. 1 & 2 - JERFO

 "Redemption Vol. 1 & 2"
Jerfo
Volume 1 (November 18, 2022)
Volume 2 (January 20, 2023)

I present to you the most unique pair of albums that you will ever find.

In the span of nearly 60 days, Jerfo has released two albums with ten total tracks that are destined to blow your mind and melt your face.

The multi-instrumentalist and multi-talented Jerfo from the area of Boston, Massachusetts who turned Twitch musician not so long ago has come up with a sort of "collaboration" if you will, between himself and his viewing community.

Stream viewers can use their channel points as a redemption to have Jerfo record and release any certain jam that he may be playing at the time during his live streams. It is a very different approach of selecting what tracks are selected on the album.

One hundred percent improvisation. All of the instruments played by Jerfo himself. Unscripted and unrehearsed jam sessions turned into produced, mixed and mastered, and then recorded tunes.

This is the total genius that is Jerfo.

VOLUME 1

Five astounding gems put together in a collection, each eclectic and gorgeous on their own. One can only begin to scratch the surface on just how much passion there is within Jerfo for playing music.

The worthiest of listens going to "Accept The Epic" and "You Are Beautiful (Issue The Tissues)" for sure."

From teeth grinding and fist in the air anthem types to heart felt and soul crushing ballads.

VOLUME 2

Another five amazing entries. The first track right away coming at you with that heavy, heavy sound that will bring out the metalheads and the rockers together as one, with their horns in the air. "Reject The Epic" is a favorite of those who are familiar with the genres.

The other four tracks are what you are looking for, if you are searching for the best of guitar shredding.

The Twitch community definitely shows off their emotion and their favor with their redemptions of all of these tracks.

Side note: I did not catch on until ten minutes after I finished listening to Volume 2 that there were the companion pieces of "Accept The Epic" and "Reject The Epic" which was definitely a brilliant move on Jerfo's behalf. The to and fro of different song titles. I tip my hat to him for coming up with the idea!!

If you are on Twitch, give his stream a follow. There's nothing to it, but you should do it.

"INVADER" - DANIELLE ALLARD

"Invader"
Danielle Allard
October 22, 2022

Singer/Songwriter Danielle Allard has released her third solo album called "Invader". It is her first project as a concept album. The multi-instrumentalist and Twitch streamer from Ottawa, Ontario dug down deep into the depths of her own soul to come up with this marvelous masterpiece. Ten tracks (six songs plus four interludes) so mindful and expertly crafted into one of the greatest compositions ever produced during an era of a worldwide epidemic.

Her Twitch audience to date now has nearly 18,000 followers. Including thousands of countless others within all of her social media pages. Danielle Allard is truly one of the top superstars of the Twitch live streaming music scene and supremely respected by the masses. The amount of support that she receives each and every time she goes live on her Twitch channel is completely astounding. Through the influence and support of her community, she is able to release this album to the world.

The concept album is very much an emotional journey through music. Tracks like "All The Things" and "Vapour" are bound to crumble even the strongest of wills to their knees. When I listened to these songs, I wept openly and longingly.

If you are in or near the Ottawa, Ontario area I encourage you to catch Danielle in those rare moments when she is performing live. If you are anywhere else in the world, I most definitely would encourage you to get this album. Follow her on Twitch as she streams live three times a week!

More album projects are in the works, so follow her wherever you can to keep in touch and find out all the details and upcoming news.

"A THOUSAND LIVES" - JESS NOVAK BAND

"A Thousand Lives"
Jess Novak Band
November 28, 2021

I would be missing out a very great opportunity if I do not take the time to pause and discuss the tenth album by Jess Novak that was released in late 2021. This is more of a post of reflection.

The album holds a personal place in my life and in my heart. And I should share that with you.

I stumbled upon Jess Novak on Twitch almost two years ago to the date from when this post was written. The singer-songwriter took to Twitch as many musicians did during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first song that I heard Jess Novak play was "Anchor".

This song came when I was at a very low point in my life while suffering a very depression. That moment when I heard the song being played on her Twitch live stream struck a very deep chord with me that it invoked great emotions from within. It changed my outlook on my personal life and allowed me to get the mental release that I had been looking for.

I decided to follow her live stream and the next time she went live, I requested that Novak play the song again. And from that point on, I have requested the song so much that on her Twitch live stream, playing the song has become a staple of the live stream. Two years later and barely a stream has gone by without that song being played. But for "A Thousand Lives", it was recorded and included on the album. A song that Novak admits, was just sitting on the shelf and essentially without a home until that moment of realization that it was so meaningful to someone.

Other tracks that a person should take note of would be "Apologies" & the title track "A Thousand Lives" as they have grown to become personal favorites of mine

 "BAD BITCH"
Jess Novak
Released: August 31, 2022

Jess Novak just released her eleventh album earlier this summer. And it the composition that we all have felt in lives but never said to those who caused us misery & pain throughout past ended relationships. The singer-songwriter from Syracuse, New York has come to the rescue to say all those things in this album that we could never say at the end of a soured relationships.

Tracks that create scorched earth. Middle fingers in the air! And it all feels so legendary.

Novak's diversity in musical styles & influences are found here in every track on the album, and it is a very spectacular collection.
